Event Description:

Honor our nation’s fallen heroes this Memorial Day weekend by participating in the Run To Remember Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk at WinterPlace Park. The 2019 race is set for Saturday, May 25, 2019.

New this year is the option for a 1 Mile Fun Walk, which will not be timed.

WinterPlace Park is located not far off Route 50 at 6737 Blue Ribbon Road in Salisbury. The course will be on wooded trails. 

Refreshments will be available following the race, and there will be overall and age group awards. Walkers are welcome to take part in all or a portion of the race.

Proceeds benefit the Wicomico War Veterans' Memorial at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, which honors the citizens of Wicomico County who lost their lives while serving the United States during war.
